Our Experience attending the Broker Network Annual Conference

As a Premier Member of the Broker Network family, Servca attended the Annual Broker Network Conference on the 18th-19th October where the Conference was held in Harrogate, Yorkshire, the founding home of The Broker Network’s origins.The conference was said to hold spectacular networking opportunities, various exhibitions and masterclasses. There would also be many lectures ranging from political, business and motivational, to inspire fellow insurance brokers and business leaders. Over the course of two days Servca witnessed engaging and thought-provoking content focused on technology and innovation. These seminars provided challenging arguments and offered new innovative ways to tackle tomorrow’s problems within the insurance industry.During the conference, Andy Fairchild - CEO of the Broker Network took to the stage the to present exactly why brokers are currently important and the role that they play within the UK insurance landscape, offering interesting statistics such as: “79% of commercial insurance is still written through a broker.” He focused on the Broker Network’s business, their period of decline, their growth in revenues and ending it all with inspiring words.“Independent Broking is thriving.
